High Salary SF

Harrison Barnes, DAL vs POR ($6900): Barnes is coming off his worst game of the past two weeks on Monday with only 19.8 fantasy points, after he had managed between 25.6 and 38.3 fantasy points in his previous six games. His Tuesday opponent was his Friday opponent, and he notched 13 points, seven boards, two assists and a steal for 26.4 fantasy points against them then. His production level is generally too low for his price tag, but with few options on Tuesday he will likely be in a lot of line-ups. **

High Value SF

Trevor Ariza, HOU vs ORL ($5600): Ariza’s production has gone up-down-up-down over his last eight games, fluctuating between a low of 15.3 and a high of 30.5 fantasy points in that stretch. He is one of the last options among the Rockets starters on offense, so a lot of his value comes from the rebounds and steals numbers he can produce. On Tuesday he faces a Magic defense that has allowed the 11th-most fantasy points to small forwards this season. **

Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, CHA vs BKN ($5200): Kidd-Gilchrist has not scored more than 20 fantasy points in three straight games, topping out at 19.7 against the Jazz on Saturday, after having averaged 27.4 fantasy points in the seven games before that. He could be primed for a bounce-back on Tuesday against a Nets defense that has allowed the most fantasy points to small forwards over the season as well as the last 10 games. **

Evan Turner, POR at DAL ($4800): Turner would generally not make a recommendation list with the way he has played lately, but the other small forward options are so weak on a thin Tuesday that he makes it by default. He has scored fewer than 15 fantasy points in two of his last four games, but he also has two efforts over 31 fantasy points in that stretch. One of those good games came against Tuesday’s opponent, the Mavericks, last Friday when he notchd 24 points, four boards, three assists, a steal and three turnovers in 32 minutes. **
