Blake Griffin is back to posterizing fools and it’s fun.

Blake Griffin has been putting guys on posters ever since he came into the NBA. He’s posterized so many defenders in his career that it’s almost become routine. He is the guy that created the term “getting Mozgov’d,” so it shouldn’t be shocking that he’s still smashing jams onto fools naive enough to try and deny him.

The Los Angeles Clippers were taking on the Charlotte Hornets today in an early tip off, and Griffin was fairly quiet. He was settling for a lot of jumpshots while avoiding the rim. He must have just been looking for his opportunity, because once Miles Plumlee entered the game it became open season on the rim.

Plumlee is a solid rim protector, and all credit to him for going up to contest Griffin despite the odds, but maybe he should have just passed off on this play.

Poor Miles Plumlee. He never stood a chance once Griffin decided he was dunking that. These were the types of highlights everybody was missing when Griffin went down with an injury early in the season.

It’s been a fun season, with plenty of highlights, but there’s been a hole in all of our hearts. We didn’t know it at the time, but that hole was the lack of Griffin dunks. Whether he’s putting people on posters or dunking on an open rim, he’s still one of the most exciting watches in the NBA.

Due to injuries and age, Griffin isn’t quite the same player he used to be. High-flying dunks used to be the norm with him, but that just isn’t his game anymore. Sure he still does it, but it’s a rarer these days. Luckily, when he does decide to put someone on a poster, it’s just as exciting as always.
