High Salary Outfielders

Mookie Betts $4200 – Betts has been playing great in his last five games, averaging almost 19 fantasy points per game in that time span. He is batting .356 with one home run, five runs batted in, and seven runs scored on the season. Betts gets a nice matchup today against the Blue Jays lefty Francisco Liriano and his 9.00 earned run average. Liriano also allows right handed batters to hit .343 against him, so Betts will have plenty of opportunities to score points today. ***

George Springer $4100 – Springer is batting .250 on the year with seven home runs, twelve runs batted in, and twelve runs scored. He is averaging almost 15 fantasy points per game through 14 games played and gets a good matchup against the Angels righty J.C. Ramirez. Ramirez allows right handed batters to smash .330 against him and will be dragging his 7.20 earned run average on to the mound with him. Springer is in a great spot to go long again. **

Michael Brantley $3900 – Brantley is batting .289 with two home runs, eight runs batted in, seven runs scored, and two stolen bases on the year. He has failed to score at least three fantasy points in just one game this season and gets a great matchup against the Twins lefty Adalberto Mejia. Mejia has been allowing both left and right handed batters to smash the ball against him and he only strikes out opposing batters 9% of the time so you know Brantley is going to make contact with a ball. The Indians are projected one of the highest implied run totals of the day and Brantley will be a major part of the action at the plate. ****
