The Cincinnati Bengals 2017 schedule is official. Here’s a full docket for them.

After one of the worst seasons in franchise history in 2016, the Cincinnati Bengals will look to return to the postseason in 2017. They have a reputation around the league as being a one and done team once January comes around. In 2017, the Bengals will look to finally win a Super Bowl. Head coach Marvin Lewis and quarterback Andy Dalton must bounce back or else there could be some significant changes coming.

The Bengals will be rebuilding their offensive line on the fly. This offseason, they lost two starting offensive linemen. One could argue Cincinnati lost their best two. Longtime left tackle Andrew Whitworth is now a member of the Los Angeles Rams. Moreover, Kevin Zeitler is now playing for the Cleveland Browns. These are two significant losses. The Bengals must effectively replace them if they want any chance of contending in 2017.

Lewis is entering a defining season for his career. He’s coming off arguably his worst season in 2016. Lewis has consistently had the Bengals as a playoff team, so his job has remained safe. If Cincinnati misses the playoffs again in 2017, he could find himself out of a job.

Here are Cincinnati’s opponents, broken down by home and away:

HOME: Pittsburgh, Baltimore, Cleveland, Houston, Indianapolis, Chicago, Detroit, Buffalo

AWAY: Pittsburgh, Baltimore, Cleveland, Jacksonville, Tennessee, Green Bay, Minnesota, Denver

The Bengals schedule will be released on April 20. Here’s everything including home, away and primetime designations (will update once released).

For better or for worse, this season should be an important and defining one for the Bengals. It should be interesting to see how the season plays out.
