4. Washington vs. Houston

How about this matchup? I’m excited just typing it. Two fresh faces in the Finals. The battle of the teams with no bench depth.

Both these teams have made their mark this season. Scott Brooks, who made a name for himself coaching Oklahoma City, has re-established himself in Washington after getting ousted from the Thunder. Mike D’Antoni has also re-established himself as the head coach of the Rockets, after an ugly stint with the New York Knicks (D’Antoni didn’t like Melo by the way).

Without a doubt, John Wall and James Harden meeting in the Finals would make for some exciting basketball, though the league is scared to have any team outside of the usual Golden State, Cleveland Cavaliers in the Finals because of ratings.

Either way, these teams will put up a bunch of points. Harden is a monster and arguably the best player in the league and John Wall isn’t too bad either.

The Wizards met up with the Rockets twice during the regular season, losing both games. However, these teams played earlier in the season, a little before Washington turned on the boosters and started playing the way they are now.

This wouldn’t be the main stream matchup that the NBA would be looking for but it would be fantastic all the same.
