New Japan Pro Wrestling will be coming to the United States this summer, and yes, you will be able to watch a little bit of it live.
New Japan Pro Wrestling has made some serious strides in recent years, becoming so popular that more wrestling fans here
in the United States are starting to take notice. To keep that momentum rolling, New Japan will actually be coming over to the US for a small tour, touching down in California for a few nights as they bring the world the G1 Special in USA show.
With not all of us die-hard pro wrestling fans being able to make the trip out to California for the occasion, some have wondered whether or not there could be a way to watch the amazing stars of NJPW live on television. Well, the good news is yes, yes we can.

It was announced on Thursday that the first night of the USA G1 special on July 1 will be available to watch live on AXS TV. AXS TV, of course, already shows New Japan Pro Wrestling content, but in syndication. This will be their first live broadcast of the promotion, which is exciting in its own right.
This is another huge step in the right direction for New Japan as they continue their expansion over here in the United States. The initial fear was that only fans able to attend the shows would get to see this historic happening, but as it turns out, it will end up being available live to so many more people. AXS isn’t exactly a media juggernaut, but hey, it’s something for now.
The first night of the USA G1 special will, again, take place on July 1 and it will begin at 8 ET time, where you can watch it live on AXS TV.
