NXT TakeOver: Chicago is set to tear the house down at Allstate Arena in Chicago, IL on Saturday, May 20 and here’s all the info you need to watch

Any time there’s an NXT TakeOver card, wrestling fans take notice. Despite huge fluctuations and changes in talent, the results of these shows have been consistently top notch. Thus, that’s become the norm. And those are the expectations for NXT TakeOver: Chicago on Saturday, May 20 from Allstate Arena.

Headlining the card will be the “Glorious” Bobby Roode defending the NXT Championship against Hideo Itami. Itami has returned to action strongly, laying out the champ with a GTS and sending one message after another. He’s always been insanely gifted. But now he’s healthy and has a viable chance to walk out of Chicago as the champion.

Meanwhile, The Authors of Pain will defend their tag titles agains DIY, the team of Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa. Paul Ellering’s behemoths have been dominant since winning the belts. At NXT TakeOver: Chicago, though, it’ll be a different story as this will be a ladder match. DIY won’t have the size to contend with the Authors. However, what they will have is their veteran experience and more agility in play. Thus, they could recapture their belts on Saturday night.

With more title matches and some exciting action set for NXT TakeOver: Chicago, here’s a look at the full match card:

  • NXT Championship Match: Bobby Roode (c) vs. Hideo Itami
  • NXT Women’s Championship Triple Threat: Asuka (c) vs. Ruby Riot vs. Nikki Cross
  • NXT Tag Team Championship Ladder Match: The Authors of Pain (c) vs. DIY (Johnny Gargano, Tommaso Ciampa)
  • WWE United Kingdom Championship Match: Tyler Bate (c) vs. Pete Dunne
  • Roderick Strong vs. Eric Young

Though it might be listed fourth on the card, Bate and Dunne have the chance to steal the show. Granted, that might be hard given how stacked the card is. However, these two have been slaying it in the UK and should do so in Chicago. But now, let’s take a look at how you can watch NXT TakeOver: Chicago.
