Shortstop

American League:

Houston’s Carlos Correa (1,176,486) leads Cleveland’s Francisco Lindor by roughly 125,000 votes and has taken the lead from Lindor, who led in the early weeks.

Correa (.304, 13 HR, 43 RBI) is way ahead of Lindor (.256, 13 HR, 28 RBI), but Lindor has the advantage of being a fan favorite after representing Puerto Rico at the World Baseball Classic. Given how many votes he has, and given that he previously held the top spot, it looks like the roster spot is up for grabs.

Prediction: Francisco Lindor

National League:

Zack Cozart has been rising through the rankings, overtaking the Dodgers’ Corey Seager and jumping out ahead by almost 200,000 votes. Cozart is just shy of a million votes (997,966) while Seager is in second place with 804,788.

Cozart (.320, 9 HR, 33 RBI) has been playing exceptionally well this season and he’s making a big impact for the Reds. Seager is also playing well (.281, 9 HR, 32 RBI) but he’s not as solid and consistent as Cozart.

Prediction: Zack Cozart
