Here is how you can watch the August 1 edition of WWE SmackDown! Live, via an online stream.

The Road to SummerSlam is officially on, and this week’s edition of SmackDown! Live will give us (hopefully) one of the championship matches for the hottest night of the summer. Before we give you the when, where and how to find this week’s broadcast, let’s take a look at what you can expect.

Last week, John Cena marched to the ring and formally threw his name in to face Jinder Mahal for the WWE Championship at SummerSlam. However, general manager Daniel Bryan slammed the door on that, for the moment. He reminded Cena that HE is the one who makes the matches and that even a 16-time champion would have to earn a shot at the title. He then made the blockbuster announcement that Cena would have to face off against Shinsuke Nakamura, with the winner facing Mahal at SummerSlam.

Also, “The Phenomenal” AJ Styles has made a habit lately of stealing things from Kevin Owens. Two weeks ago, Styles walked into Madison Square Garden on a WWE live event and walked out as the new United States Champion. Last Sunday at Battleground, Owens reclaimed his status of “Face of America” by winning back the title. But two days later, Styles pulled the ultimate trick. In a triple threat match featuring Owens and the surprise return of Chris Jericho, Styles capitalized on a late-match situation and won back the United States Championship. Feeling robbed and enraged, Owens immediately demanded his rematch, and that will happen this week on SmackDown! Live.
