The second week of NFL Color Rush is in action this Thursday night with a matchup between the Los Angeles Rams and San Francisco 49ers. What will the uniforms look like?

After an uneventful Thursday Night Football game in Week 2, Week 3 could give us a similar result. The Los Angeles Rams (1-1) travel upstate to take on their NFC West division rivals San Francisco 49ers. The game kicks off from Levi’s Stadium at 8:25 p.m. ET and can be seen on NFL Network.

The Bengals and Texans debuted some sharp uniforms for the first week of  Color Rush, but I’m not sure I can say the same for both teams this week. Like we’ve seen in the past, Color Rush has had it’s hit and misses. What will the uniforms look like on Thursday night?

Yes, for all you uniform junkies, the Rams will be wearing their mustard Color Rush uniforms on Thursday. It’s the moment we’ve all been waiting for.

What a way to kick off Week 3. It’s a bold look that always seems to stir up some controversy. The look has gotten mixed reviews, but I’d say the consensus is more on the negative side. I’d much rather see their all white Color Rush uniforms they wore in back in 2015.

But not to worry, this isn’t going to be the Mustard vs. Ketchup game that many are expecting. The 49ers will be wearing all black Color Rush uniforms with red numbering.

Now this is a uniform to get behind. It’s a simple concept that works well and just plain looks good. The 49ers might not be the better team Thursday night, but they’ll certainly have the better look.

Thursday’s game will be an interesting one. The Rams come off a seven point loss to the Redskins, but look much-improved from 2016. The 49ers aren’t expected to be in the playoff race this year, but gave the Seahawks a tough time in a 12-9 loss on Sunday. Like last week, we could very well see another low scoring, defensive game. It’s not great for the ratings, but at least we’ll have some interesting Color Rush uniforms to look at.
