How to Get Away with Murder season 4 premiere: Watch online

After the roller coaster that was season 3, How to Get Away with Murder returns on Thursday and we have all the details you need to watch online.

Just this week, Grey’s Anatomy celebrated its 300th episode. Not including soap operas and things like that, Grey’s Anatomy has enjoyed a really long lifespan, something unusual for television nowadays. More importantly, it made me consider the longevity of Shondaland shows, specifically. This year marks Scandal‘s seventh and final season, and quite honestly, I see How to Get Away with Murder making a similar move sometime soon. It’s better to go out on your own terms than to watch the ratings drop slowly.

Last season sent many of us into a terrifying tailspin as we watched mystery after mystery unfold right before our eyes. Unfortunately, it all ended with an unsatisfying payoff in the end. The central conflict was who died and how. At the end, we learned it was Wes, the only character who really gave any humanity back to Annalise and made any of her actions seem forgivable. Without him, I question how the show will keep itself and the audience tethered together.

Plus, if you consider the new Shonda Rhimes deal, it would be better to let this show run its course through like season 5, then switch over to Netflix with something really crazy. Though, Pete Nowalk promises this season will be “bonkers.” How nice.
