WWE has come to terms on the releases of Emma, Summer Rae, and Darren Young.

On Sunday, WWE made the announcement that they had come to terms on the releases of three superstars. Emma, Darren Young, and Summer Rae were collectively “future-endeavored” today.

Emma was a bit of a surprise, given that she had been featured with the women in recent weeks. She had been through a number of expected transformations over the last few months, including a failed return as “Emmalina” earlier this year.

Her in-ring work had been improving with each passing week, including a stand-out performance against Asuka at the TLC: Tables, Ladders, and Chairs event.

Darren Young had been somewhat lost in obscurity over the last few months, outside of being paired up with WWE legend Bob Backlund. He had a good run with Titus O’Neil as part of the Prime Time Players, but their split left him without a prominent role.

Summer Rae is the third release to be mentioned on Sunday. She had been mostly shipped off to Total Divas on the E! network, making sporadic appearances here and there when needed. She was initially brought in as the dancing partner to Fandango, and would later get her shot in the ring. But much like Young, she hadn’t been seen much lately.

There have been rumors lately about some WWE superstars being unhappy, notably Neville and Nia Jax, as their recent absences have been well-noticed. IT’s been awhile since there’s been a mass cleaning of the roster, so it wouldn’t be overly surprising to see more names added to the list in the coming days.
