The first ever HASCON was successful enough to make sure it’ll happen again in Providence in less than two years.

Hasbro has a presence at different trade shows and conventions, but the first ever HASCON was the first time the company celebrated all of its brands and partners at a single event. So why not do it again?

That’s exactly what Hasbro announced this week, revealing the dates for the next HASCON in 2019. The show will return to Providence at the Rhode Island Convention Center and Dunkin’ Donuts Center Sept. 6-8, 2019.

“We couldn’t be happier with the feedback we’ve received from our inaugural HASCON event,” John Frascotti, president, Hasbro, Inc., said in a press release. “We’re looking forward to once again delivering immersive entertainment experiences around our brands for fans and families in 2019.”

The mix that worked for the first HASCON is expected to be the foundation for the next one as well, including hands-on brand experiences, celebrity appearances and meet-and-greets, panels, exclusive reveals, concerts and more. Mark Wahlberg, Stan Lee, David Ortiz, James White, Dude Perfect, Maddie Ziegler, James Gunn, Zach King, Peter Cullen, Frank Welker, and Isabela Moner were among the special guests, and both Flo Rida and Daya concerts came as part of the general admission package.

Though Hasbro isn’t promising any particular guests or activities this far out, one would expect that its core brands like Transformers, My Little Pony and NERF will once again be prominently featured, as well as big time partners like Star Wars and Marvel.

While we wait for fall of 2019 to roll around, we’ll keep you posted on further info and details as they become available. You can also check out the dedicated website at hascon.hasbro.com for all the latest.
