Cincinnati enters play at 3-4 on the year. The Bengals have largely underwhelmed this season. Though they did play better ball after falling to 0-2 on the year, the Bengals were only able to beat the lousy Indianapolis Colts by a point at home. Cincinnati is still alive in the AFC playoff mix, but this game on the road in Jacksonville is a very important one should the Bengals want a top-six seed.
Jacksonville enters play at 4-3 on the season. The Jaguars have been impressive in the first half of the year. They have won with defense and a ground-and-pound offense. Jacksonville would be the No. 6 seed in the AFC playoff picture if the season ended today. Maybe the Jaguars have what it takes to make the AFC playoffs for the first time since 2007 at the end of this season?
