In a matchup of 7-2 NFC teams, the Minnesota Vikings will play host to the Los Angeles Rams in Week 11 on Sunday afternoon.

The Minnesota Vikings will play host to the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday, in a matchup of two of the better teams in the NFC this season. While both teams have talent on their rosters, nobody could have predicted that this matchup would be between teams currently in first place in their respective divisions. A new head coach has changed the culture in Los Angeles, and their former No. 1 overall pick is playing like one.

Jared Goff was seen as a bust last season, even though he was playing behind a bad offensive line, and really had no weapons in the passing game. He has taken his game to new heights in 2017, and it now looks like the Rams were wise to trade away so much to get the No. 1 overall pick in 2016. Due to his emergence as a quality quarterback, running back Todd Gurley is back to being one of the best in the game, making this one of the more exciting offenses in football.

Minnesota comes into this game being led by their defense, which will have star defensive end Everson Griffen ready to go on Sunday. Head coach Mike Zimmer always preaches defense, and with his team having a comfortable lead in the NFC North, it certainly seems to be working. Minnesota has also played well on offense, as third-string quarterback Case Keenum has been surprisingly efficient this season.

Odds

Line: Minnesota Vikings (-2.5)

Over/Under: 46.0

The Rams are road dogs in this one, as they are currently getting 2.5 points from the Vikings. The over/under is set at 46.0 points, which makes sense considering both offenses can get hot. This line will change a lot throughout the week, so head on over to OddsShark.com for any changes up until kickoff.

Prediction

This one is going to be good, as both teams come into this game playing at a high level. The combination of Sean McVay and Jared Goff has taken the NFL by storm this season, and they will run their record to 8-2 on Sunday. The Vikings defense should be able to hang with the Rams offense in this one, but the Rams will kick a field goal to win late.

Final Score: Rams 27, Vikings 24
