Fandom 250: Jenna Marbles fans named best in the internet famous category

Jenna Marbles fans were ranked atop the internet famous category in this year’s Fandom 250, the ultimate ranking of fanbases.
Every year, the Fandom 250 seeks to rank the best fanbases in the world. Not only does this include sports franchises, movies and television shows, but the individual actors and athletes. This year, our editorial panel gathered to add a new category, Internet Famous.
Why Jenna Marbles?
She’s been called the woman with one billion clicks, which is a pretty simple way of quantifying the following of Jenna Marbles. When it comes to internet fame, numbers are everything — whether it be likes, clicks, or follows.
Marbles has plenty of all those to go around, and then some. Her YouTube channel has 17 million subscribers, her Instagram is viewed by millions of people each day, and she has well over 4 million Twitter followers.
None of this happens without her fans, but that’s obvious. Fandom for Jenna Marbles goes beyond just liking a post or sharing a video. Since she started uploading videos in 2010, her fandom has organically grown into a community of people who see her as a friendly face that will always be there when she’s needed. Fans gather at conventions to see not only Jenna but to interact with one another and share in something they all love. It’s a special bond, one that Jenna acts as a conduit for and one that she supports every single day.
