5 bold Premier League predictions: Walcott scores on Everton debut
5. Paul Lambert gets first Stoke win
One of the more low-key games of the weekend sees Stoke host Huddersfield at the Bet365 Stadium. However, this game does have an interesting storyline as it will be Paul Lambert’s first game in charge after taking over the managerial hot seat from Mark Hughes.
Hughes was finally sacked after Stoke crashed out the FA Cup and Lambert has been chosen as the man to get the Potters back to their best. Whether he’ll be able to do that remains to be seen.
The Scottish manager did well with Norwich in getting them promoted to the Premier League but his time in charge of Aston Villa was disappointing. He has a third bite at the Premier League cherry with Stoke and hopefully for Potters fans he can get it right.

Lambert should fancy his chances of starting his time in charge of Stoke off with a win, too. Huddersfield can be tough opponents but West Ham showed last week that the Terriers defense is not the strongest.
