Oscars 2018: Watch the Oscar nominations online
Hollywood’s best and brightest are set to be honored with 2018 Oscar nominations later this morning. You can watch the Oscar noms online right here.
One of the most hotly-debated moments during awards season is about who wins or loses at the Oscars. Before that, though, you have to get nominated first! Thankfully, the first round of discussions will begin later today, as the Academy Awards’ 2018 Oscar nominations will be announced later today.
Bright and early in the morning on the west coast, this year’s nomination ceremony should be relatively controversy-free, as there are a few clear-cut frontrunners for the year’s top categories. Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri won big at the 2018 Screen Actors Guild Awards on Sunday night and held its own at the 2018 Golden Globes. That said, the aging voter base for the Academy Awards may hold different views about black comedies or films that challenge contemporary viewpoints.
You can watch the 2018 Oscar nominations live stream as it goes online right below, as well as watch back the event after the nominees have been announced.
There are 24 categories up for 2018 Oscar nominations today, with the first wave of announcements at 8:22 a.m. ET going to categories such as Cinematography, Visual Effects, Sound Mixing, Original Score, Makeup and Hairstyling, Film Editing and more.
