4. Liverpool vs. West Brom

The late game on Saturday is an all-Premier League clash as Alan Pardew’s West Brom side travel to Anfield to play Liverpool. On paper this should be one of the easiest games to call this weekend but there’s something about the FA Cup which means you can never write a team off.

Jurgen Klopp’s side have one of the best home records in England and the undeniable attacking talent at the German manager’s disposal makes the Reds almost unstoppable. West Brom have struggled for the majority of the season but Alan Pardew has finally got a rise out of the Baggies.

This run of form started in the last round in which Pardew’s side comfortably beat Exeter 2-0. They’ll need to be at their very best to beat Liverpool, who got one over on their city neighbors in the third round, beating Everton 2-1 with a late debut goal from Virgil van Dijk.

Klopp will hope the Dutchman is available for this match after seeing his side lose 1-0 to Swansea, who the Reds dismantled at Anfield a few weeks before. West Brom can take heart from Swansea’s performance on Monday and set out to frustrate the Reds.

Pardew should look to Everton’s recent performances at Anfield which saw them narrowly lose and snatch a draw in defensive displays. If the Baggies can hold out for the first half, then Liverpool may run out of ideas, playing into Pardew’s hands.
