FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – February 1, 2018
High Salary PG
Russell Westbrook, OKC at DEN ($12,300): Westbrook missed value against the Wizards, posting 40.2 fantasy points on Tuesday. It’s unlikely that he’ll be held to 13 points again, although the Nuggets did hold him to 13 points in their Nov. 9 game. He scored 38 points in their Dec. 18 meeting. I would expect the Thunder point guard to have a bounce back performance on Thursday, pushing 50 fantasy points. He needs 51 fantasy points to hit value. ****
Kyle Lowry, TOR at WAS ($7,400): Lowry has missed value in three of his last four. In the game where he hit value, he did so by just .7 fantasy points. It’s been a struggle for the Toronto point guard and he hasn’t exactly had much success against the Wizards this season. He had 29 fantasy points in a Nov. 19 meeting and was ejected in their Nov. 5 meeting. He needs 30.7 fantasy points to hit value on Thursday. I think he’ll be right around that number. ***
Jamal Murray, DEN vs OKC ($6,800): The Thunder are fourth against the position in their last 15 games. Murray is averaging 16.3 fantasy points in two games against the Thunder this season, but I’m not concerned about either of those performances. He’s played well in recent games and I don’t trust the Thunder defense on the road, especially in Denver, where the Nuggets are a much better team. I like Murray to push 30 fantasy points in this one. ****
