FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – February 1, 2018
High Salary SG
James Harden, HOU at SA ($11,500): Harden had 98.5 fantasy points against the Magic on Tuesday. I’m confident in saying he won’t produce a similar game. The Spurs are a much tougher matchup, even without Kawhi Leonard. And, 98.5 fantasy points is nearly impossible to replicate. If Eric Gordon and Chris Paul are out for Houston, he will have to do it all once again, so he should be in for a big night, even if it’s not nearly 100 fantasy points. *****
Bradley Beal, WAS vs TOR ($8,500): After a miss against the Hawks, Beal bounced back with 47.7 fantasy points against the Thunder. With John Wall out, Beal continues to be the top option on the Wizards. He’s averaging 40.2 fantasy points in two games against the Raptors this season. He needs 35.3 fantasy points to reach value on Thursday. I love Beal, I love him even more without Wall, and I love this matchup for him. Unless he has a poor shooting night, this should be a strong night for the Wizards guard. *****
Khris Middleton, MIL at MIN ($7,500): Eric Bledsoe is listed as doubtful, which means Middleton should see an slight increase in opportunities. He already has the second highest usage rate on the Bucks in their last five games. He’s missed value just once since Jan. 12. And in that game, he missed by .6 fantasy points. He needs 31.2 fantasy points to hit value on Thursday. I think Middleton will be in for a big night given the circumstances and the matchup. *****
