FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – February 1, 2018
High Salary SF
Giannis Antetokounmpo, MIL at MIN ($12,000): Antetokounmpo has hit value in five straight. He’s been 10-plus fantasy points over value in three of those five games. The Timberwolves are second against the position in their last 15 games. Antetokounmpo was a bust against them on Dec. 28, posting 34.5 fantasy points in that contest. That game fell in the middle of a mini-slump for the Bucks forward. He’s been much better as of late and I expect him to push 50 fantasy points on Thursday, especially if Bledsoe is unable to play. ****
Jimmy Butler, MIN vs MIL ($8,900): The Bucks are 25th against the position in their last 15 games. Butler had 38.5 fantasy points against them on Dec. 28. That number would put him just over value on Thursday. He still doesn’t look 100 percent off the knee injury, but he should do enough to hit value in this one, especially given the matchup. He puts up solid numbers in all categories and I can’t imagine him not picking up a defensive stat in two straight games. ***
Paul George, OKC at DEN ($8,200): George missed value against the Wizards, posting 33.2 fantasy points in that contest. It wasn’t due to a lack of production, it was due to a lack of his teammates finding him in the fourth quarter. Expect Russell Westbrook to go out of his way to accommodate George in this one, because that’s what he loves to do after unintentionally freezing out players in the offense in the previous game. The Nuggets are 22nd against the position in their last 15 games. I expect George to push 40 fantasy points in this one. ****
