FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – February 4, 2018
High Salary SG
DeMar DeRozan, TOR vs MEM ($8,500): DeRozan has been over value in three straight and four of his last five. He had 42.4 fantasy points against the Grizzlies on Dec. 8. Memphis ranks 24th against the position in their last 15 games. He always gets buckets and he’s helped his value by turning into the primary playmaker on a very good Toronto offense. Expect him to be over 40 fantasy points once again in this contest. Unless Norman Powell plays 40 minutes for some reason. ****
Khris Middleton, MIL at BKN ($7,400): Middleton missed value on Friday against the Knicks, contributing 24.7 fantasy points in that contest. With Malcolm Brogdon out, Middleton should see more opportunities in the Milwaukee offense. He had 32.6 fantasy points against the Nets on Jan. 26. That number would put him just over value on Sunday as he needs 30.5 fantasy points to be at value. The circumstances and matchup project well for Middleton. He should be right around value and it would not be surprising if he pushes 40 fantasy points. ****
Norman Powell, TOR vs MEM ($7,100): I can’t explain this one. As mentioned, the Grizzlies are 24th against the position in their last 15 games and, ummm, that’s all I have. Powell needs 29.3 fantasy points to hit value on Sunday. He’s been over 29 fantasy points in one game this season when he had 33.2 fantasy points against the Wizards on Nov. 5. Unless DeRozan and Kyle Lowry come down with the flu prior to the game, there is no reason to pick Powell. And even if those two are out, I still wouldn’t take Powell. *
