5. Manchester City demolish Leicester

The late game on Saturday sees league leaders Manchester City welcome Leicester to the Etihad in what could be a thrilling encounter. This match comes in the aftermath of Riyad Mahrez’s failed transfer to the Citizens.

The winger wanted to leave the Foxes, but City’s bid of an estimated £60 million was turned down. Mahrez has reportedly been on strike since, and is refusing to train. Claude Puel has confirmed the Algerian won’t start against City, a big loss.

Manchester City have still only lost once this season and they’ve taken all comers home or away. They had troubles in the reverse of this fixture but still ran out 2-0 winners. This game will be much different, though, as the Citizens are completely unstoppable at home.

Pep Guardiola’s side have won 18 matches in a row at the Etihad with the only blemish being a 1-1 draw with Everton in August. This spells bad news for Leicester, who could be on the end of another City thrashing.
