FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – February 9, 2018
High Salary PG
Chris Paul, HOU vs DEN ($9,900): Paul shined bright once again on Wednesday with 44.9 fantasy points against the Heat. He’s been over value in three straight. He had 51.4 fantasy points against the Nuggets on Nov. 22. The Nuggets are in a much better position now than they were in that one, but so are the Rockets. Furthermore, the Nuggets have struggled on the road throughout the season, especially on defense. This one could be an offensive showdown given how good these two offenses have been throughout the year. Paul will do his part in putting up big numbers for Houston. ****
Damian Lillard, POR at SAC ($9,000): The Trail Blazers are on a back-to-back, but it should not matter given the matchup. The Kings are 20th against the position in their last 15 games. After trading George Hill, Sacramento will begin to play their younger guys even more. That bodes well for their projections, but even better for the projections of opponents. Expect Lillard to be over 40 fantasy points on Friday. ****
Ricky Rubio, UTA vs CHA ($8,000: The Hornets are still on the road and on a back-to-back. With Rodney Hood out of Utah, Rubio is going to see even more offensive responsibilities. He’s been fantastic in recent weeks, hitting value in seven straight. He’s been 10-plus fantasy points over value in five of those contests. His salary keeps climbing and he now needs 33.8 fantasy points to hit on Friday. Given that he’s consistently been over 40 fantasy points, 33.8 should be no issue for the Utah guard. *****
