High Salary SG

James Harden, HOU vs DEN ($11,800): Harden dropped 62.8 fantasy points against the Heat on Wednesday. Aside from a rare off-night against the Cavaliers, he continues to get it done in all areas for the Rockets. He had 37.1 fantasy points in 32 minutes against the Nuggets on Nov. 22, struggling from deep in that contest. Don’t expect that to happen again. Harden will push 50 fantasy points in what should be a high scoring affair. *****

Donovan Mitchell, UTA vs CHA ($7,500): Mitchell has been terrible in his last two games. He’s been battling an illness this week, but the hope is he’s over things by Friday. This is certainly a great matchup given the absence of Rodney Hood and the fact that the Hornets are on a back-to-back and on the road. He’s a risk due to recent play and if you want to go with a more consistent player, look at Will Barton. But, assuming Mitchell is healthy, he has the higher upside due to his role in Utah. ***

Lou Williams, LAC at DET ($6,800): Williams has missed value in his last three. His salary is down to where he needs 27.4 fantasy points to reach value on Friday. Milos Teodosic and Austin Rivers are both listed as questionable with injuries. If neither guy can play, Williams could pick up the start. Either way, he’ll log big minutes and will be back over value in this one. He should look a lot more comfortable with his new contract and no trade worries. ****
