High Value SG

Gary Harris, DEN at HOU ($6,500): Harris has been over value in three straight. The Nuggets are on a roll offensively right now, but a lot of those games came at home. We’ll see if they’re able to carry it over the road. My guess is that they will, especially against a Rockets defense that can be inconsistent. Harris has been extremely reliable this season, hitting value in 74 percent of games. Expect the usual strong game from Harris on Friday as he pushes 30 fantasy points. ****

Kent Bazemore, ATL vs CLE ($6,400): The Cavaliers are first against the position in their last 15 games, but anyone who watches their defense knows that they bleed points like a stuck pig. The Hawks are on a back-to-back, but this matchup projects very well for them. The Cavaliers will be without a handful of players, and while their offense will be just fine with LeBron, their defense won’t exactly improve with younger guys without the reps. Bazemore is averaging 37.1 fantasy points in three games against Cleveland this season. ****

J.J. Redick, PHI vs NO ($5,400): After missing value in two straight, Redick looked more like himself against the Wizards, contributing 26.2 fantasy points in that contest. The Pelicans have struggled against the perimeter all season and that won’t change against the shooting of the Sixers. Redick had 34.6 fantasy points against New Orleans on Dec. 10. He should push 30 fantasy points once again on Friday. ***
