FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – February 9, 2018
High Salary SF
LeBron James, CLE at ATL ($11,500): James had a monster 72.5 fantasy point effort on Wednesday against the Timberwolves. He’ll need a similar performance on Friday when he looks around and doesn’t recognize half his teammates. The Hawks are 13th against the position in their last 15 games. James has dominated the Hawks this season, averaging 58.5 fantasy points in three games against them. He’ll be over 50 fantasy points without much issue on Friday and should be in for another big night. *****
Giannis Antetokounmpo, MIL at MIA ($11,300): Antetokounmpo looked just off with the ankle issue against the Knicks on Tuesday. Did he see him leap over Tim Hardaway Jr? Tim Hardaway Jr is tall enough to ride all the rides. And Antetokounmpo treated him like a child. He had 54 fantasy points against the Heat on Jan. 17. He was down to 31.7 fantasy points against Miami on Jan. 14, but that was at the end of his mini-slump. He’s in a slump no more and should give you another 50-plus fantasy point night. *****
Jimmy Butler, MIN at CHI ($9,800): Butler dropped 54 fantasy points against the Cavaliers on Wednesday. That came on the heels of a 54.1 fantasy point effort against the Pelicans. He needs 42 fantasy points to reach value on Friday. This is his return to Chicago and you know he wants to stick it to the Bulls after what he went through in the offseason. He certainly went to the situation that will allow him to dominate. He’s another small forward who can give you 50-plus fantasy points and can do so at the lowest price of the three. *****
