High Value PG

Ish Smith, DET at ATL ($6,100): Smith has been over value in his last two games and five of his last six. He’s performed very well alongside Blake Griffin, who opens up the offense more for Smith with his playmaking ability. He needs 25.9 fantasy points to reach value on Sunday. The Hawks are 20th against point guards in their last 15 games. Given the matchup and Smith’s play since the Pistons added Griffin, expect him to push 30 fantasy points once again in this contest. ****

De’Aaron Fox, SAC at MIN ($5,400): The Timberwolves are 25th against the position in their last 15 games. For has been over value in six of his last seven games. His one miss came when he sprained his ankle against the Bulls. With George Hill off to Cleveland, Fox will continue to be the leader of the Kings offense. He’s delivered in recent contests, and with this matchup, he should deliver once again. He needs 22.9 fantasy points to reach value. He should be over 25 fantasy points once more. ****

J.J. Barea, DAL at HOU ($5,200): Barea had 24.7 fantasy points against the Lakers on Saturday. He’s looked more like his reliable self in the last three games, which is a good sign for his value moving forward. He also picked up the start once again on Saturday despite Harrison Barnes returning to the lineup. He might be better suited coming off the bench and playing against opposing second units, but it never hurts to play alongside better players as a starter. He’ll give you his usual solid game. ***
