FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – February 11, 2018
High Value SG
Rodney Hood, CLE at BOS ($5,000): Admittedly, I’m not sure how the Cavaliers will look or gel on Sunday. I’m banking on Hood being the leader of the bench unit, but that role could just as easily go to Jordan Clarkson. Hood as the lower salary, making him easier to fit into your lineup and go over value. He needs 19.7 fantasy points to reach value. If he sees times alongside LeBron James, he’s going to get the best looks he’s ever had in his career. There are question marks concerning everyone at shooting guard below Victor Oladipo and Hood might be worth the flier. Jaylen Brown is probably the most reliable option given how he’s played against the Cavaliers this season. **
Wesley Matthews, DAL at HOU ($5,800): The Rockets are 21st against the position in their last 15 games. Matthews missed value against the Lakers on Saturday, posting 21.2 fantasy points in that contest. He’s been fairly reliable this season, hitting value in 68 percent of games. He had 48.3 fantasy points against the Rockets on Jan. 24. He’s been right at value or over in his last five back-to-back contests. He needs 22.9 fantasy points to reach value on Sunday and that’s likely where he’ll be. ***
Bogdan Bogdanovic, SAC at MIN ($5,600): Bogdanovic has been over value in three of his last four. His one miss was by less than one fantasy point. He had 18.7 fantasy points against the Timberwolves on Dec. 14. He needs 22.1 fantasy points to reach value on Sunday. The Timberwolves are 25th against the position in their last 15 games. Bogdanovic has been reliable this season and should be right around value in this contest. ***
