4. Dallas Cowboys

The good news about the Terrance Williams contract is the Cowboys didn’t pay him very much, which opens the door to bring in a high-priced veteran and not upset the balance of the team.

The bad news is Dez Bryant looked lethargic last season, like the cumulative injuries he’s played through for Dallas have finally caught up with him and robbed him of the athleticism and dynamism that made him one of the best receivers in the game just a few years ago.

Cole Beasley was supposed to break out in 2017, but the Ezekiel Elliott suspension and injuries on the offensive line hurt Dak Prescott’s play and the offense suffered in a major way.

Prescott needs a reliable playmaker with some juice. That’s Sanders. He can play any of the positions in this passing game, capable of threatening teams deep, running those Beasley option routes in the slot, or going over the middle and making plays there.

Dallas won’t have the money to absorb this contract if they give DeMarcus Lawrence a fortune, but Jerry Jones always manages to find a way to make it all work and the Cowboys could use the infusion of talent.
