FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – February 14, 2018
High Value SF
Brandon Ingram, LAL at NO ($6,500): Ingram missed value against the Mavericks, posting 28.7 fantasy points in that contest. It was his first miss in four games. He needs 27.8 fantasy points to reach value on Wednesday. The Pelicans put up points, but they also give up a lot of points. The addition of Isaiah Thomas does cut into Ingram’s value a bit, but he remains the top option on the Lakers and his salary has dipped low enough to where he has a real shot to be over value. He’ll be over 30 fantasy points in this one. ****
Mario Hezonja, ORL vs CHA ($6,200): Hezonja had 51.2 fantasy points against the Bulls on Monday. He’s been over value in eight of his last nine. His one miss was by less than two fantasy points. He has been terrible against the Hornets this season, averaging 4.4 fantasy points in two games, but both of those games came before he’s getting the opportunities he’s getting now. The Hornets are a bad team on the road, and while the Magic are just a bad team, Hezonja continues to put up strong scoring and rebounding numbers. ****
Joe Ingles, UTA vs PHO ($5,900): The Jazz are the hottest team in the league right now and Ingles’ shooting is a big reason why. He’s been over 35 fantasy points in his last three games. Unless something drastic happens on Wednesday, the Jazz should be able to run the Suns off the floor. And, once again, the shooting of Ingles will be a big reason why. He needs 25.2 fantasy points to reach value. He should be over 30 fantasy points without too much trouble given recent play and the matchup. *****
