FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – February 14, 2018
High Value PF
Lauri Markkanen, CHI vs TOR ($6,400): Marrkanen’s minutes have gone down in recent contests, but his production has gone up. He’s looking more comfortable playing next to Zach LaVine, which is a good sign for his value moving forward. Markkanen had 38.9 fantasy points against the Raptors on Jan. 3. Toronto is on a back-to-back as well. He needs 27.4 fantasy points to reach value on Wednesday. Look for him to be over 30 fantasy points as he finds his shot and collects rebounds. ****
Thaddeus Young, IND at BKN ($6,000): The Nets are 30th against the position in their last 15 games. Young has been over 30 fantasy points in his last two games, including a 39.7 fantasy point effort against the Knicks on Sunday. He has not played well in his last tow games against the Nets, finishing below 20 fantasy points in both contests. But he’s playing great right now and the matchup, at least on paper, is good for him. ***
Derrick Favors, UTA vs PHO ($5,800): Favors posted 39.4 fantasy points against the Spurs on Monday. He’s averaging 24.7 fantasy points in two games against the Suns this season. That number would put him right at value on Wednesday. He should be over 30 fantasy points again given the matchup. The Jazz are rolling, the Suns are standing still. Favors will pick up plenty of points and rebounds in this contest. ****
