Here’s how you can watch the gold medal game in Olympics women’s hockey between Team USA and Canada.

Ever since becoming an Olympic sport in 1998, women’s hockey has been dominated by two countries: the United States and Canada. The two archrivals will face each other yet again on Wednesday, beginning at 11:10 p.m. ET. It should be a great conclusion to what has been a wonderful tournament for women’s Olympic hockey.

Team USA comes into the matchup with just one loss in Pyeongchang this year. That loss, by the way, was to Canada in the preliminary round. In fact, Team USA has only given up four goals this entire tournament. Two of them have been to Canada. In the process, the American ladies have scored 14 goals in four games. Excluding the game against Canada, Team USA has 13 goals in three games.

On the other side of the ice, Canada has come out on top in the past four Olympics games. Three of those gold medal wins have been over Team USA. They’ll go for their third straight gold medal win over America (and fifth straight overall). Canada has scored 16 goals in the tournament while surrendering just two.

Team USA has gotten the best of their northern rivals in recent World Championships. These two teams know each other extremely well. It’s quite fitting the conclusion of the women’s hockey tournament at the Olympics will feature the best rivalry in the world.

This should be an excellent game. Their game in the preliminary round was arguably the best in the tournament thus far. So don’t be surprised if the gold medal game finds a way to top the bar which has been set extremely high.
