High Value SG

Klay Thompson, GS vs OKC ($6,300): Thompson has been held under 20 fantasy points in both games against the Thunder this season. He’s missed value in three straight, but his misses are never too bad. On the season, he’s hit value in 71 percent of games. He hasn’t had those scoring explosions that we’ve seen from him throughout the years, but he’s still a reliable option. The Thunder are 27th against the position in their last 15 games. Thompson will get you at least 25 fantasy points on Saturday. ***

Andrew Wiggins, MIN vs CHI ($6,200): Wiggins average 35.5 fantasy points when Butler missed time in January. Assuming Butler is out on Saturday, that means Wiggins will see the bulk of the opportunities on the Minnesota perimeter. He had 20.8 fantasy points against the Bulls on Feb. 9, but the circumstances dictate a bounce back game for the Minnesota guard. He needs 24.1 fantasy points to reach value on Saturday. If Butler is out, Wiggins should have no issue going over 30 fantasy points. His value is still largely tied to his scoring and he’ll get his points against the Bulls. ****

Marcus Smart, BOS at NY ($5,000): Smart returned to the lineup on Friday after missing a couple of weeks and delivered 21.6 fantasy points against the Pistons. He needs 19.4 fantasy points to reach value on Saturday. The Knicks are 25th against the position in their last 15 games. Smart played 26 minutes on Friday, which is slightly below his average. Assuming he has no discomfort on Saturday and is able to play his usual 28-30 minutes, expect him to give you 20-plus fantasy points. He’s back to being the top backup playmaker and typically contributes in the defensive categories. ***
