Bracketology: Midwest Region

(1) Kansas Big 12 vs. (16)  Grambling Southwestern

(2) Villanova vs. (15) Nicholls Southland

(3) Auburn SEC  vs. (14) Northern Kentucky Horizon

(4) Cincinnati American vs. (13) UNC Greensboro Southern

(5) Michigan vs. (12) Louisiana Sunbelt

(6) Arizona Pac 12  vs. (11) Boise St.

(7) TCU vs. (10) Miami (FL)

(8) Florida vs. (9) Seton Hall

All Kansas does is win Big 12 titles, and they look to turn that into postseason success this time around. Another Big 12 member who is rolling is TCU, who is finally finding ways to close out close games. Coach Jamie Dixon may have his Horned Frogs in the NCAA’s for the first time in 20 years.

Arizona is a team who may be free fall quickly, with the mess concerning head coach Sean Miller and reports of a scandal involving star player Deandre Ayton. It’s unknown whether both will be around come March Madness time, but it does not look good for the duo.

Bracketology: South Region

(1) Duke vs. (16) Florida Gulf Coast Atlantic Sun/Wagner Northeast

(2) Purdue vs. (15) Rider Metro Atlantic

(3) Wichita St. vs. (14) Vermont American East

(4) North Carolina vs. (13) Murray State Ohio Valley

(5) Kentucky vs. (12) Kansas St.

(6) Clemson vs. (11) Western Kentucky

(7) Arizona St. vs. (10) NC State

(8) Arkansas vs. (9) Oklahoma

Duke is back on track and is fighting for that final No. 1 seed with Big East foes Villanova and Xavier. Speaking of righting the ship, coach John Calipari has his bluebloods rolling in Lexington — a team you do not want play come March Madness time. Wichita State is another team who’s finally adjusted to playing in a new conference, and coach Greg Marshall is one of the best big game coaches in all of NCAA basketball. His loaded roster is pretty good too, with the likes of Landry Shamet, Shaq Morris, Markis McDuffie, and Conner Frankamp.
