FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – February 27, 2018
High Salary C
DeAndre Jordan, LAC at DEN ($8,300): Jordan has been over value in four straight contests. With Blake Griffin gone and the Clippers going with more space, Jordan has more room to roam in the paint. He not only gets it done with points and rebounds, but he chips in with assists and is always an impact player on defense. He needs 37.4 fantasy points to reach value. He’ll spend plenty of time checking Nikola Jokic, which is good for his offense with Jokic’s limited defensive range. Expect Jordan to push 40 fantasy points in this one. ****
Nikola Jokic, DEN vs LAC ($10,200): Jokic has been outstanding in recent games, going nine-plus fantasy points in four straight games, going over 50 fantasy points in each contest. He needs 46 fantasy points to reach value on Tuesday. He had 38.6 fantasy points against the Clippers on Jan. 17, but don’t be too alarmed by that number. He’s played too well in recent contests too ignore and should be around value. If this one is the offensive showdown that it should be, Jokic will pick up plenty of points and assists. ****
Joel Embiid, PHI at MIA ($10,200): The Heat are 22nd against the position in their last 15 games. He needs 46 fantasy points to reach value on Tuesday. He struggled a bit against the Heat on Feb. 2, posting 39.2 fantasy points in 31 minutes in that contest. He’s been over 47 fantasy points in six of his last seven. Expect him to bounce back from his Feb. 2 performance with a strong game. He’s fired up for the playoff run and that’s bad news for opposing teams in the East. ****
