NASCAR driver Kyle Busch flipped off his Joe Gibbs teammate Brandon Jones mid-race after the two made contact during an Xfinity series race on Saturday.

NASCAR is a sport where competitors are relatively isolated from their opponents inside a vehicle, but it doesn’t mean there isn’t contact. Racers often bump into one another and trade paint as they jockey for position, and sometimes the bad blood boils after the race.

Sometimes driver’s can’t wait to let their feelings be known after the race and have to take matters into their hands a bit sooner, which can be tricky given the fact their hands are vital to steering a vehicle driving well over 150 miles per hour.

Oh, and sometimes that person is your teammate.

After Kyle Busch and Joe Gibbs teammate Brandon Jones swapped some door decals, Busch decided to let Jones know how he felt. He slid his hand out the netting of the window to give Jones the single finger salute.

You’d think teammates could wait to hash it out after the race, but apparently, there was no waiting for Busch.

It didn’t end there and with 76 laps to go, it might not end soon. Jones passed Busch, and you have to wonder if he took the opportunity to salute his teammate back.

Or maybe Jones is more of a passive aggressive person and was just content knowing how irate Busch must be to watch him drive by.

We’ll see how the teammates feel about this after the race.
