High Value SG

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, LAL vs POR ($6,400): Caldwell-Pope bounced back with 44.6 fantasy points against the Spurs on Saturday. If Brandon Ingram is out again, expect another strong outing from Caldwell-Pope. Scoring has not been an issue for the Lakers guard, but it’s his rebounding that has lifted his value. His rebounding takes a hit when Ingram is in the lineup. He should push 30 fantasy points once more, although if Ingram is in, he may fall short of value. ***

Dwyane Wade, MIA vs PHO ($4,900): Wade missed value against the Pistons, posting 15.7 fantasy points in that contest. Prior to that, he was over 30 fantasy points in games against the Lakers and Sixers. The Suns are 30th against the position in their last 15 games. With Wayne Ellington out, Wade is getting solid minutes off the Miami bench, which is a good sign for his value. Given the matchup, he should have enough scoring to be over value. ***

Marcus Smart, BOS at CHI ($4,800): Smart has been over value in all five games since the break. He’s coming off a 27.7 fantasy point effort against the Rockets on Saturday. His salary remains low as he needs 20 fantasy points to hit value on Monday. As long as his salary stays around this level, he’ll continue to be a nice low-cost option who will routinely go over value. He gets plenty of opportunities as the Celtics backup point guard and delivers more often than not. ***
