High Salary SF

LeBron James, CLE vs DET ($12,500): James continues to hit value since the deadline, posting 62.5 fantasy points against the Nuggets on Saturday. He needs 54.9 fantasy points to be at value on Monday. The injury to Tristan Thompson is going to put even more pressure on James to deliver in all categories. Thompson’s injury means more rebounding opportunities for James, which will help his value. The Cavaliers need wins right now and James will continue to deliver like few others in the league can. *****

Giannis Antetokounmpo, MIL at IND ($11,300): Antetokounmpo played 42 minutes on Sunday, which is concerning, but the word “Freak” is in his nickname, so just assume it won’t be an issue. He had 49.5 fantasy points against the Pacers last week. That number would put him right at value on Monday. Both teams are on a back-to-back, so the stars could be a little more weary than usual, leading to them potentially missing value. But Antetokounmpo should still be around 50 fantasy points. ****

T.J. Warren, PHO at MIA ($6,700): Warren had 38.8 fantasy points against the Hawks on Sunday. The Heat rank first against the position in their last 15 games. The matchup isn’t great on paper and the back-to-back is concerning. But Warren is your only other high salary option unless Brandon Ingram is active. If that’s the case, Ingram is the better play, even off the injury. Scoring could be tough for Phoenix given Miami’s defense and Warren’s last two games don’t project a lot of confidence. **
