High Salary PF

Blake Griffin, DET at CLE ($8,000): Griffin looks to be out of his slump, but now his salary is up to where he needs 34.1 fantasy points to hit value on Monday. The Pistons are a tough group to figure out, but the Cavaliers are shorthanded in their frontcourt and their defense remains a big concern. Griffin found his shooting touch against the Heat, which is a positive sign for his value on Monday. Given the matchup, pushing 40 fantasy points should be expected from the Pistons forward. ****

Julius Randle, LAL vs POR ($7,500): Randle has now been over value in six straight. He hasn’t been great in two games against the Trail Blazers this season, but both games were prior to him becoming a starter in Los Angeles. He needs 31.9 fantasy points to hit value on Monday. Given his recent play, that should be no issue. The Blazers are 20th against the position in their last 15 games. Expect Randle to be nicely over value once more. ****

Bobby Portis, CHI vs BOS ($7,400): Portis is averaging 33.2 fantasy points in two games against the Celtics this season. Both games came in December. Portis needs 31.5 fantasy points to hit value on Monday. He’s hit that mark just once in his last five games. This is a matchup he’s had success against, which projects some confidence, but he’s a risk on Monday. Aaron Gordon is your only other option here (assuming LaMarcus Aldridge is out) and he has a tough matchup against the Jazz. **
