FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – March 5, 2018
High Value PF
JaMychal Green, MEM at SA ($6,100): Green had 49.1 fantasy points against the Magic on Saturday. He’s been over value in five straight and 13-plus fantasy points over value in three of those contests. If Marc Gasol is out, that will increase Green’s usage once again. He needs 26 fantasy points to hit value on Monday. Memphis is playing a mix of young players and veterans, but Green is certainly the most accomplished and reliable, especially if Gasol doesn’t play. ***
Larry Nance Jr., CLE vs DET ($5,800): No Tristan Thompson means Larry Nance Jr. is the only reliable frontcourt option on Cleveland. Expect his minutes to be way up as he plays a lot of small ball center next to LeBron James. He was over value in four straight prior to Saturday’s miss against the Nuggets. He needs 24.7 fantasy points to hit value on Monday. Given the circumstances, he should be in for a huge game. They’ll need every bit of his rebounding and energy against the duo of Blake Griffin and Andre Drummond. ****
Kyle Kuzma, LAL vs POR ($5,600): Kuzma was inserted into the starting lineup with Brandon Ingram injured on Saturday and delivered with 26.1 fantasy points. If Ingram is out once again, Kuzma should remain in the starting lineup, which is a boost to his value. He needs 23.8 fantasy points to hit value on Monday. He was playing well off the bench with Ingram in the lineup in the two previous games. He’s been inconsistent in his rookie season, but the opportunity to be a starter should put him over value once again. ***
