FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – March 6, 2018
High Salary PF
Anthony Davis, NO at LAC ($12,500): Davis had 57.1 fantasy points against the Mavericks on Sunday. He had 59.4 fantasy points against the Clippers on Jan. 28. The Pelicans were also without DeMarcus Cousins in that contest. 60-plus fantasy points is not out of the question for Davis on Tuesday. Both teams are in the West playoff battle and Davis is the best player on either team, meaning he’ll be tasked with carrying the load when it comes down to it. He’s proven up to the task in recent weeks. Expect him be up to the task again on Tuesday. *****
Ben Simmons, PHI at CHA ($8,800): Simmons had 40.5 fantasy points against the Bucks on Sunday. He had 35.1 fantasy points against the Hornets last week and needs 37.6 fantasy points to hit value on Tuesday. The Hornets are a better team on the road and his miss, although it wasn’t by much, against Charlotte last week is a bit concerning. That said, he puts up solid numbers in all categories and it’s tough to ignore how well he’s played this season. He’ll be around value, even if it’s slightly under. ***
Tobias Harris, LAC vs NO ($7,900): Harris had 54.6 fantasy points against the Nets on Sunday. He had 43 fantasy points against the Pelicans on Jan. 8 as a member of the Pistons. He’s been a solid player for the Clippers thus far and even though the matchup is tough on paper, the Pelicans are ninth against the position in their last 15 games, Harris should be over value. This will be a high scoring affair and Harris is one of the top shooters on either side of the ball. ****
