Marcus Smart gets bored during blowout, pulls off the most impressive physical feat ever seen on a basketball court.

Marcus Smart always has a flair for the dramatic. After taking a spill to the floor against Chicago, Smart kipped up like Shawn Michaels in his prime, signifying that the fiery babyface comeback was on.

Granted, Boston led wire-to-wire, so this was more showing off than sparking his team. But it’s impressive nonetheless. He didn’t even need to come off the top rope with the elbow. The sound of sweet chin music was prevalent on the face of Zach LaVine.

You may think it was unnecessary, but the man just got thrown down to the ground by LaVine, who was charged with an offensive foul. In the mind of Marcus Smart, it was 100 percent necessary. He just 3-0’d LaVine in three seconds, one round for drawing the foul, one round for the kip up, and one round because…scoreboard.

It’s upsetting that this is the first time he’s shown off the kip up. Where was this after baiting James Harden into back-to-back offensive fouls?

The most impressive thing about this is that it proves NBA players can get up without the help of their teammates. They don’t have to make it look as good as Smart did, but have some pride. Don’t just lay there waiting for your teammates to lend a helping hand. Kip up, do some push-ups, bust out a spin-a-roonie. If it gets you trending on Twitter, you should do it.
