High Value C

Jonas Valanciunas, TOR at DET ($6,400): Valanciunas is coming off a strong 30.4 fantasy point performance against the Hawks on Tuesday. He’s been over 30 fantasy points in his last two contests and needs 28.5 fantasy points to hit value on Wednesday. He had 13.5 fantasy points in 22 minutes against the Pistons on Feb. 26. Although you would think he would get decent minutes against the duo of Blake Griffin and Andre Drummond, he might be too slow to keep up with them. He’s a risky play due to his Feb. 26 game. **

Brook Lopez, LAL vs ORL ($5,800): The Magic are 28th against the position in their last 15 games. Lopez had 38.6 fantasy points against Trail Blazers on Monday and had been around value in the prior three contests. He needs 25.9 fantasy points to hit value on Wednesday, which feels like a tall task given his lack of minutes and usage. The matchup is good, but Lopez isn’t a big part of the Lakers offense and this salary is a bit too high. The reward is high, but so is the risk. **

Jakob Poeltl, TOR at DET ($4,400):Poeltl had 32.3 fantasy points against the Hawks on Tuesday. He should see solid minutes once again due to the matchup. He had 24.3 fantasy points against the Pistons on Feb. 26 and needs 19.6 fantasy points to hit value on Wednesday. Expect him to be over 20 fantasy points as he continues to impress off the Toronto bench. ***
