FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – March 7, 2018
High Value SF
Trevor Ariza, HOU at MIL ($5,200): Ariza has been over 30 fantasy points in his last two games and has been over value in five of six games since returning from injury. He’s turned into the third most reliable option on the Rockets, especially at such a low price. He needs 22.8 fantasy points to hit value on Wednesday. The only concern here is the back-to-back. He has not been good in back-to-back contests this season. But the Rockets are rolling, this is a good matchup, and Ariza has played well recently. ***
Denzel Valentine, CHI vs MEM ($6,000): Valentine has been 10-plus fantasy points over value in his last three games. He continues to get around 30 minutes a game off the bench for Chicago. The issue here is that the Bulls are now forced to play Justin Holiday, and his return could cut into the minutes and usage of Valentine. Because of that, he’s a slight risk on Wednesday. The matchup is good as both teams are tanking, but there are a lot of question surrounding the Bulls rotations right now, which is worrisome. **
Dillon Brooks, MEM at CHI ($4,500): If nothing else, Brooks starts for the Grizzlies. He’s a bigger part of their offense than you might think, posting a 33 percent usage rate in his last five. This is a great matchup as the Bulls rank 24th against the position in their last 15 games. Anyone who starts for the Grizzlies along the perimeter is going to have some sort of success because someone has to score points for them. He needs 19.7 fantasy points to hit value and should be over 20 fantasy points, with a real possibility of him having a breakout game. ***
