FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – March 9, 2018
High Salary C
Nikola Jokic, DEN vs LAL ($9,700): Jokic got the message after getting benched in the fourth quarter against the Mavericks. He responded with 55.6 fantasy points against the Cavaliers the next night. As long as he continues to stay aggressive and the offense runs through him instead of Paul Millsap, he’ll be over value again. He is a risk because the previous games alongside Millsap can’t be ignored. But this is a great matchup and the Nuggets are a desperate group. ***
Rudy Gobert, UTA at MEM ($9,200): The Grizzlies are first against the position in their last 15 games, but Gobert’s play is way too good to ignore. He’s been over value in four straight and over 45 fantasy points in three of those contests. He needs 40.8 fantasy points to hit value on Friday. The matchup is tough, but Gobert has elevated his game for this stretch run while the Grizzlies are playing just good enough to lose. Expect another big game from the Utah center. ****
Enes Kanter, NY at MIL ($6,900): Kanter continues to produce, going over value in his last three games. His salary has jumped over the average and he now needs 30.6 fantasy points to hit value on Friday. Given the matchup, that should be no problem for the Knicks center. He’s averaging 37.2 fantasy points in two games against the Bucks this season. He’ll push 40 fantasy points once again, bringing his usual points and rebounds to the table. ****
