FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – March 9, 2018
High Salary SG
Bradley Beal, WAS at NO ($8,600): Beal continues his strong play, going over value in six of his last seven. He needs 36 fantasy points to hit value on Friday. Without Anthony Davis, the Pelicans lose their safety valve around the rim. That will make things much easier for Beal and the rest of the Wizards. He’ll be over 40 fantasy points, collecting plenty of points and rebounds in this one. *****
Jrue Holiday, NO vs WAS ($8,500): Anthony Davis is listed as doubtful, which is likely bad news for his status. He may try to give it a go because it’s playoff time, but don’t hold your breath. No Davis means more opportunities for Holiday, but also more defensive attention. Despite the extra attention, he has the scoring ability to put up a big game on the defense. It’s very possible he flames out as the lead guy in New Orleans, but it’s a risk worth taking with the usage he’ll command. ****
Lou Williams, LAC vs CLE ($8,100): The Cavaleirs are fifth against the position in their last 15 games, but their defense remains at the bottom of the league. Williams has missed value just once since Feb. 9. He needs 33.9 fantasy points to hit value on Friday. Expect 40-plus fantasy points from Williams in this one as he likely has a big scoring and playmaking nights. This projects to be the highest scoring game of this night and Williams will do his part in contributing. *****
