High Value SG

Klay Thompson, GS at POR ($6,500): No Steph Curry means more shots for Thompson. He didn’t always deliver when Curry missed time earlier this season, averaging 30.1 fantasy points during the December stretch when Curry was sidelined. He needs 27.2 fantasy points to hit value on Friday. He did have 31.1 fantasy points against Portland on Dec. 11, which was part of stretch that Curry missed. He should be over 30 fantasy points in this one just due to circumstances. ****

Bogdan Bogdanovic, SAC vs ORL ($5,800): Bogdanovic has been up-and-down in his last four games. He’s been over 35 fantasy points in his two hits, but is coming off a 14.3 fantasy point performance against the Pelicans. He needs 24.3 fantasy points to hit value on Friday. The matchup is certainly there for him to succeed, but he’s playing slightly less minutes as Buddy Hield is starting to heat up. Bogdanovic is the more reliable play, but Hield isn’t a bad option either. ***

Rodney Hood, CLE at LAC ($5,300): Hood has hit value in all three straight with the Cavaliers. Amazing what playing next to LeBron James will do for players. The Clippers are 22nd against the position in their last 15 games. It looks like Hood will continue to start with Cedi Osman coming off the bench. As long as he’s starting and playing next James, he’ll continue to be around 25 fantasy points. ****
