High Salary C

Karl-Anthony Towns, MIN at DAL ($10,900): Towns posted a monster 81 fantasy point game against the Hawks on Wednesday. It was a nice bounce back after missing value in his previous two games. He continues to log big minutes in Minnesota and they know that he is their best option with Jimmy Butler out of the lineup. He needs 48.5 fantasy points to reach value on Friday. 81 fantasy points is expecting a bit too much on Friday, but he should at least push 50 fantasy points against an overmatched Dallas squad. *****

Nikola Vucevic, ORL vs CHI ($9,000): The Bulls are 28th against the position in their last 15 games and on a back-to-back. Vucevic has been over 45 fantasy points in his last two games and needs 40 fantasy points to reach value on Friday. It’s a good matchup for the Magic center, but he can be inconsistent and I always worry about the effort level of two teams just playing out the season going into next year. He should be around value and the opportunity for a big night is certainly there. ***

Jusuf Nurkic, POR vs LAC ($7,400): The Clippers are sixth against the position in their last 15 games, but Nurkic has done well against the Clippers this season. He’s been over 40 fantasy points in his last two games against Portland, including 41.9 fantasy points against them on Mar. 18. He needs 32.9 fantasy points to reach value on Friday. He’s on a great run right now, going 10-plus fantasy points over value in his last three. Expect him over value once again on Friday. ****
